Maths Makeover?

with cold creeping in - took a minute to look over my gotz code.

in order for me to add in the additional single player modes i would have to redo my maths. it is a matter of where point 0,0 is. Or maybe not?

I've considered starting from scratch in my frustrations over the years. (ive been working on this one a while) ...but some time away from it being the focus has been helpful. the major glitches are relatively simple fixes.

 coming fixes:

cards menu. My canvas is out of order. oops

turns! This will fix the breaking of the planet movements, the storms and transmute patterns not initiating…

thought it was an issue in my coroutines, timing. But just need to add a player n turn, click to continue...

 version update

finish game play -holes in the ether

easy enough for a burn line. But then I have to consider how to handle lines of burns from there?

Do the lines extend across the holes, or are segmented by it? I’m running scenarios in my head – the elements can not traverse across or move to a hole, the suns can…

Should the storms move or stay stationary? If they are to move – would storms follow the same laws and the planets and zodiac or follow a different path?

Should the moving storms be a toggle for increased difficulty?

single player vs reflect; vs polar reflect

Where the current point 0,0 sits is not center. 0,0 center would make the reflective math easier to program than around point 5,5? I thought with this for sure I’d have to start from scratch for. Nah… move start point of board should do the trick?  Still the reflective would be +1 from anything in the first quadrant.

in game how to play guide

think this might be helpful for folks.

  in game acheivements.

... ... thinking what these should be. ...

 features

camera angles. Currently it is top down. Thinking about adding player perspectives to toggle.

I’m thinking about color indicator in the modality clock. Cycle through element colors? If so which? By challenge? By type? All?... …

I will be pouring over my code in the coming weeks as the winter approaches.

Taking Feedback on fixes and features through the holidays.

Working on gotz this winter and colder days like today. planning next build release for spring.
